In-person & Virtual Therapy in Brooklyn For Individual Adults and Couples of All Backgrounds and Stories
Every person’s story is unique, and I’m here to understand yours.
If you’re here, you might be feeling stuck, unseen, or perhaps carrying more than you know how to hold. Well, I am here for you. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, healing from past experiences, navigating a major life transition, or trying to improve your relationships, my goal is simple yet profound: to make sure you feel seen, heard, and deeply understood.
I’ve built my practice around creating a warm, safe space where genuine change can unfold. Using a dynamic approach, I believe in meeting you where you are, exploring the experiences that shape who you are, and gently guiding you toward new ways of seeing yourself. Together, we’ll explore patterns, beliefs, and moments of insight that lead to those powerful “a-ha” moments—the turning points that reveal new possibilities for growth, resilience, and self-understanding.
Therapy doesn’t have to be all serious and scary, it can be just a conversation. Let’s talk about it, together.

Individual Therapy
In individual therapy, we’ll focus on you—your experiences, your challenges, and the ways you’d like to grow. This work is not one-size-fits-all. Our sessions will be tailored to what you need most, and we’ll take things at a pace that feels right for you.
At the very heart of our work together, we will explore the experiences that have brought you to where you are today. We will be building bridges between your past and present in order to understand and break the cycles that are no longer helpful. In this journey, we will talk about whatever you bring in and understand your unconscious motivations behind certain emotional reactions. Through talking and exploring, we will create a safe space for developing insight, finding deeper meanings, and figuring out better coping mechanisms that actually work.
We will be primarily focused on collaboratively exploring what “really” is going on. Through reflecting on early life experiences and relationships, we will be looking deeper together to understand how such experiences have been carried onto today and how they manifest in the present day. We will be curious and, at times, humorous together. We will identify and challenge certain thoughts and patterns to better understand ourselves, find new and healthy narratives, make peace with each and every aspect of our being, and eventually create sustainable change and healing.
Couples Therapy
Relationships can be complex. When two unique individuals come together, their experiences, expectations, and emotions often intersect in ways that can feel overwhelming. In couples therapy, we will work to help you and your partner find common ground and deepen your understanding of each other’s inner worlds.
This space is one where both of you can speak openly to each other and feel truly heard. My approach is to create a collaborative space where both partners feel safe enough talk things through. In the meantime, we’ll explore communication patterns, uncover underlying needs, and work toward new ways of connecting that bring out the best in each other. I’m here to help you discover those pivotal moments that can shift your relationship, often leading to new paths of connection, respect, and shared understanding.
If you're looking for a therapist who understands that every couple is unique—and who can offer real tools for deeper connection—let’s work together to build the relationship you both deserve.
FAQs
What are the first steps to starting therapy?
You’re here! You’ve already taken the biggest step. Now, it begins with reaching out. First, we’ll have a brief phone consultation to discuss your unique needs, address any questions or concerns, and decide together if we’re a good therapeutic fit. If we are, we’ll schedule our first session, either in person or virtually.
How often will we meet? How long are the sessions?
Typically, many clients prefer having a session once a week while others feel the need to have more frequent sessions. Sessions are 45 minutes.
What is your session fee? Do you take insurance?
Session fees are comparable to other psychotherapists in the area. Please feel free to contact me to discuss current session fees.
I see a limited amount of people via insurance. I am currently in network with Aetna, Cigna, and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield New York (formerly Empire). Please reach out to inquire about availability.
If you would like to use your out-of-network benefits (which means you pay first, get reimbursed later), you can check your coverage by contacting your insurance provider and asking the following questions:
1. Do I have out of network mental health benefits?
2. What is my out of network deductible and has it been met?
3. After the deductible is met, what is the coverage amount (or percentage) per therapy session?
